JK Junior Prize Winner 2020 – The Story Begins

Congratulations to lead designer Leah Rainey and her team mates Rachel Treverton and Sasha Evans (model) from City Armagh High School! This design was inspired by Stella De Libero’s extravagant dresses who has a love for many creative techniques such as knitting, fraying, sculpting and French knitting. This gown was created by experimenting with discarded packaging, medical bandages and newspapers. Every detail of this dress was hand sewn and the use of texture was explored in the range of materials used ??

We can’t wait to see the girls back at the Junk Kouture powered by RTÉ Grand Final, where Sasha will jump back into their fabulous design and collect their worthy JK trophy and a €100 voucher for each of the team members!
